Noah Davis Collection

This collection tells the story of Noah Davis, a brilliant artist and cultural force, through the eyes of his friends and collaborators. Together, the two volumes provide a crucial record of Davis's extraordinary oeuvre and offer insight into the impact and legacy of the revolutionary Los Angeles artist and activist. 
 
Noah Davis is published on the occasion of the 2020 exhibition at David Zwirner, New York. Edited by curator Helen Molesworth, the book includes interviews with Lindsay Charlwood, Dagny Corcoran, Daniel DeSure, Thomas Houseago, Deana Lawson, Henry Taylor, and Venus X. 
 
Noah Davis: In Detail includes a special conversation, moderated by Helen Molesworth, between Fred Moten, Glenn Ligon, Thomas Lax, and Julie Mehretu; a new essay by Franklin Sirmans; and a chronology by Lindsay Charlwood.
