Marlene Dumas, Lost, 2015-2017 (detail)

In its much anticipated return to the Grand Palais, David Zwirner is pleased to participate in the third edition of Art Basel Paris with a focus on historic paintings by Marlene Dumas and Gerhard Richter, as well as on works by Elizabeth Peyton and Lucas Arruda, and new paintings by Dana Schutz and Lisa Yuskavage, among other artworks. The gallery will also present new and historic work by artists including Josef Albers, Michaël Borremans, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Victor Man, Oscar Murillo, Luc Tuymans, and Andra Ursuţa. In addition to their booth, David Zwirner will be exhibiting Yayoi Kusama’s PUMPKIN (L) (2014) as a part of the fair’s public program on Avenue Winston Churchill, between the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais. This monumental work, made in bronze, is part of Kusama’s iconic series of pumpkin sculptures.
