This exhibition focused on On Kawara’s production in 1966, a pivotal year within the artist’s oeuvre when he began making his influential Today Series (1966–2013). The core of the presentation comprised 51 paintings from this body of work, many exhibited for the first time. This marked the artist’s first institutional solo presentation in Belgium since On Kawara, 1973 – Production of a Year at the Palace of Fine Arts in Brussels in 1975.
