Fred Sandback designed an installation of works from throughout his career that is on permanent view at the Dia Art Foundation in Beacon, New York. Sandback adjusted the works for the space and their relation to one another, slightly changing measurements, proportions, and the hue of the yarn.
The Dia Art Foundation is committed to advancing, realizing, and preserving the vision of artists. Part of its mission is fulfilled by the realization of long-term installations like Sandback's.
