Curated by Claude Armstrong and Donna Cohen, both of whom worked as assistants to Donald Judd, Obdurate Space: Architecture of Donald Juddfocused on both built and unrealized architectural projects by the artist. The exhibition featured five built projects and proposals dating from 1984–1994 in a display which included new representations of the projects through both drawing and models, and photographs of archival material.
