For over 40 years, the Swiss architecture practice Herzog & de Meuron has challenged our ideas of what architecture can be. They’ve reimagined the nature of buildings, from houses to hospitals. And they’ve designed projects that have transformed cities, such as Tate Modern, Laban Dance Centre, Elbphilharmonie and M+.
This exhibition, featuring 400 objects from the Herzog & de Meuron design process, is a chance to find out how their projects come together. Explore their open archive shelves, sit on their latest furniture design, walk around life-sized architectural mock-ups, and use augmented reality to experience a new children’s hospital in Zurich.
