Giacometti / Morandi: Moments Immobiles

Giorgio Morandi, Natura morta, 1944

Institut Giacometti, Paris, France

November 15, 2024–March 2, 2025

The Institut Giacometti presents an exhibition of two masters of the post-war period: Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) and Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964). Both artists revitalized classic forms—still life and landscape for Morandi, the human figure for Giacometti—in an exploration of a universal vision of the human condition. Moments Immobiles comprises works from 1913 to 1965, pulling from the collections of the Giacometti Foundation and private European collections.
