Rirkrit Tiravanija has been invited as Artistic Director and co-curator of the 2024 edition of the Korean biennial, Art Spectrum 2024, titled Dream Screen. Art Spectrum was founded in 2001 and is committed to exhibiting up-and-coming, emerging Korean artists and showcasing a broad spectrum of Korean contemporary art. This year’s exhibition will extend to all of Asia and feature over twenty artists, including Priscilla Jeong, Bo Wang, Vivian Chang, He Ji Ke, Stella Jong, and many more.

Dream Screen takes as its starting point the different senses of the physical world that artists of the millennial and later generations have developed as they live in an era where screen experiences such as the internet, games, and movies have become natural. The 26 participating artists (teams) in this exhibition come from 11 Asian cultural spheres including Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Japan, and Myanmar. Of the 60 total works, 23 are new works that are being introduced for the first time in this exhibition. The stories of each artist will be introduced intensively in each room through a room-by-room composition.
